THIS WAS WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS!!! He has been doing great just standing alone for a while, but finally he took a few steps here and there... I just can't believe how fast he is growing up!! His little walker is sure getting him to be a little more gutsy! YAY for Ethan!

Just to let everyone know that we have some wonderful news. Nathan Paul Davies came home today. He now weights just over 7 pounds. He is still on a little oxygen. But other than that he is doing great. What a wonderful Christmas present for Melanie and Danny. Thank you for all the prayers and blessings that you have all done for Nathan. He is truly a blessing and a miracle. CONGRATULATIONS Mel and Dan.

Well, I am not sure what to say.... I came out into the living room and this is what I found... I heard the t.v. start and then the theme music for Halo... so Layne let him try it out, the head set and the controller my little man starting so YOUNG.... I don't know how I feel about this either! I mean its one thing to have a husband doing this, but my little boy... come on!!

Yes, i know... there is really about a week until christmas and I am just now getting my tree up! But what can I say things have been crazy! so This is our little charly Brown Christmas Tree... and it fits great in our apartment... Along with Ethans first stocking that Layne picked Out. so there it is! Our CHristmas tree!

This year was an amzing time for us as a family during Christmas time, our family and a few others that work with APX had the honor to go out Christmas Shopping for some families in need. We were able to go to Walmart as a group and pick out a bunch of things that the kids had asked for. After a couple hours of shopping we were able to go back and wrap all the gifts. We were able to the next morning take the gifts to the families. It was so neat to be apart of this and know that we were able to help others that were in need of a little Christmas cheer. I hope that this christmas was a little full for us that were able to help these families get things that they not only wanted but needed. It makes you stop and think about how lucky and blessed we are... I wish that I could do more to help out MORE families. I keep them close to my heart and in my prayers.

*.* UPDATE ON NATHAN *.*

Well Look at the little guy!!! HE lOOKS SO GREAT!!! He is doing great as well, As you can see he was 4 months on the 8th of December and weighs 6 lbs 5 OZ!!!

"Nathan is doing better and what a relief that is. He is off c pap again, no iv's, no eye drops, no more vitamins, only his diuretic. He has started nippling again and today was able to nipple all but 2feedings. I think one he did it all and the rest it was 1/2 or more.He is up to 50 mills. He has out grown his preemie clothes and my luck by the time I see him again he will be 7 pounds. I am just thankful he has not had anymore apnea and oxygen and heart rate drops since he got sick last week. Rochelle assured me today he looks so good and is doing so much better. Even tonight when I called she didn't say ok she said really good. What a relief. They have been so good to take care of him and make sure he gets held--which apparently he loves to be held. I can't wait till I can hold him again. I think the day I go back to see him--not through a window I will plan to stay all day and hold him as much as I can--or that he will allow me to do. Maybe during each feeding. Guess we will see."

He is such a handsome little man, and we are so thankful for all your prayers for Nathan!

So Layne just got home from scouts and this is what Ethan was doing. He is such a funny little guy, so full of it and always smiles! It sure does bring me so much joy to have such a gift from God!

So lets just say that I have nothing better to do this morning... Well first of all Before Layne went to work I sent him on a diaper run, while he was gone He asked if I would get his tickets ready for him... So while I was in the middle of doing the dishes "watching" Ethan and getting Laynes paper work ready... I realized that He was really quiet... and he was in my room. I try and keep things that he can get into out of the reach because if he goes into my room I am less likly to notice until its too late... well it was tooooo lAtE! I told Layne he could eat the chips in our room IN OUR BED because i was being nice! (I HATE CRUMBS IN THE BED!!) well that a was a few nights ago... well Ethan found the somewhat empty bag... and when I found him he was very much enjoying his little discovery! they were all over the floor and all over him... and yes, "I"
cleaned them up....

Then a little while later... the dvds were all over the floor... I had to tape them all so that when he pulled them off the shelf they would come all the way open and he would have a hay day choppin on the discs.... so anyway, the day continues on! second by second......by second.....

ha ha okay so the video that I posted of Ethan, well i was watching it and I HEARD what was playing on my TV in the back round!! I Almost Died! I didn't even notice what was on because I was so into what Ethan was doing!! that is so embarrassing! I guess I need to be more careful on what I just leave my tv on... wow.

So Last night when Layne got home our friends Shawn and Crystal Bowling calle3d and asked if we wanted to come over and play guitar hero, Shawn was so excited because he has been wanting to get it... and of course Layne and I love it too. Well we walked over there and had dinner and then played... I almost died because they made me sing!! it was really bad mostly because I have a cold so I sound like a drunk old man, and 2nd I cant sing anyway... not really a good combo. But we had a blast! so that is what we do on our Friday nights!

Oh and if you look on the one where I am playing the drums layne is playing the guitar... just lazy style cause ethan fell asleep!

So you are probably wondering what in the world...well I'll tell you what in my World! AGH!
So this morning I did the usual, I fed Ethan and then I put him right into the bath tub because he is all fooded up... (i dont think that is a word), but anyway, So he had a messy diaper... and He just had done it cause of the red face in his high chair I knew what he was up to. So i thought okay well he wont pull what he did yesterday by poopin in the tub cause he just went... Well I figured that while he was in the tub I would clean his bathroom... good way to keep him out of the cleaner while I'm trying to clean! So I have some music on in the bathroom for him and I. I am singing along just and I looked over and Ethan was surounded by the big long GreEn Turd... and a few little others!! Well I WAS SO GROSSED OUT BECAUSE I REALIZED INSTANTLY THAT THERE WAS A LITTLE ONE HE WAS MUNCHIN ON!!!! AHHHH so I got that out and didnt know quite what to do at that moment cause Layne was gone to work so I had to handle this one alone... So I washed him off under the fauset and then plopped him in his birthday suit on the bathroom floor and ended up scooping the green Monster out of the tub with my bare hand ladies and gentleman! it was not my fondest moment being a mom.... well after the clean up he went back in the tub for a nice good scrub! And not to worry I did buy him a toothbrush yesterday! I knew it would come in handy! So yes, today has been a good day... so far. I am sure that I am not the only mother that this has happened too... at least I hope!
