*.* LoOk WhAt I CaN Do *.*

Well As of Yesterday 3than tried for the first time to crawl, but today He actually did it!!! He is growing up so fast. His motivation is of course a cord from my lap top. I don't know what he has with cords or shoe laces but its very annoying... He will go out of his way just to get to one! So here you can see what a good crawler he is with only a few days of trying.

.*. 2 year Anniversary .*.

Layne and I had a great time tonight just the 2 of us. We have been married for 2 years today! It amazes me how fast time goes by. These are the pictures of when we got back from down town Houston As you can see my adorable husband cant take a serious picture so we tried a few times and every time I looked at it he was being a goof ball... so I hope The other pictures Ill get up of our adventure when I get them developed will be just as fun.

Layne took me out to the Olive Garden down town, we were lucky when we ordered desert that they didn't have strawberries so we got it free!! yay! It was Devinne!

After dinner we ventured out to the Aquarium and wondered through it, and after Layne surprised me with a carriage ride around down town, then off to the Ferris wheel... that overlooked down town and the whole area.... It was beautiful.

The night ended well and it amazed me that no matter what we were doing and I saw a small child i missed ETHAN!!! I have separation issues! and Thanks to our good friends Shawn and Crystal for watching Ethan so we could have a great time with each other tonight!

He is too good to me! So Ill get those other pictures up ASAP!

*Father Like Son*

I have to thank Cindy for sending me this picture of Layne
and his dad, its for sure a classic when you have the
father/grandfather sharing a moment with his
son & Grandson... That saying "Like father like son" rings true!

*HuRrIcAn3 IKE*

All of these picture show you how messy things are... They are really not showing how terrible things really where but this was AFTER just in our area... we couldn't go to far because roads were flooded out and just the travel that we did here almost did us in for... Power lines were completely taken out as you can see by trees which now I can see WHY the power outage was so great, houses were destroyed along with a lot of other things.

Trees were totally uprooted in some areas, and if you notice that water was knee deep On the ROADS! when we were driving we almost drowned our poor jeep, we didn't realize how deep that water was on the road towards the high way and I was certain that if it was a half inch deeper the water would have started to come on in.

We are all okay we have power and water, we are very lucky to not have gone through as much as other have... thank Heavens for paying our Tithing!!! :)

We are just trying to get our things cleaned up that had water leakage... it didn't FLOOD in our apartment but we sure did get it from the people above us.... Instead of the flooding we got leaked on so now our bed is the living room floor until they can get our walls fixed along with New carpet and the ceilings are fixed as well...

It was sure an experience but I pray we will never have to go through another one again, God Bless all those who suffered a lot more tragedy then we did!

*.CatCh Up Tim3.*

A Lot has happened in the last little while so Ill try and catch everyone up as well as I can.

We are finally moved into our new place All these pictures that will be up are going to of course be part of the time line that has happened in our lives. We Have our little dog Theo back!! YAY! And as you can see he is happy about it too! His smile says it all! :) He is so great with Ethan, they mostly love to watch T.V. together as you can see in the picture. All the mean while Ethan has Popped his SECOND bottom tooth!

His days are long and when he plays to the point that he falls asleep playing... well that's good for me...

He has his bed back which I was mostly excited for because he really didn't get to sleep much in his crib when he was born cause we moved shortly after.

His Time with Grandpa Bowen we special because everyone one has left us here in Houston! All of Layne's family are now back in Idaho missing us. :) Ethan is still full of smiles and and I am too after getting my hair chopped off! ... its just what the heat does to you!
But for now Ill keep posting pictures of the big event that happened not to long ago and that made the Top stories on all the News Channels!....

*.Another UpdaT3 On NAthan.*

The following pictures were taken on August 14 by his nurse Carolyn. Nathan was 23 weeks at this time. Nathan is still on the oscillator. Maybe tomorrow or the next day he willcome off--hopefully. We will see how tonight goes. With them getting more fluid in him his blood pressure has been better, kidneys are better--he is peeing!! and his heart is bigger-which is good. He hada good night last night so hopefully tonight is good. His day has been good, too. He just does not like to be bothered. That upsets him. Tonight when I called his nurse Wendy said he was doing ok and that he was mad at her since she had to reposition him and change his diaper. So she will leave him a lone for a while then around midnight put another line in to give him some medicine. His antifungal med isnot compatible with stuff they are giving through the pic. The other line he had quit working. So when it is time for that she'll give him some stuff for pain. So that will be good. Tonight he has his eyes open and moving around. He is a bit uncomfortable with the tube down him so they gave him stuff to help him relax. When on the oscillater the less he moves the better. Well, we hope you enjoy thepictures and the update. Please keep him in your prayers--he really needs them and has a long ways to go. Love- Mel

Well I can't Help but share how adorable 3than is. His cute personality makes anyone around him just smile. He is always spreading Smilies and Happiness to those around him.
