*.* My LItTle MeSs *.*

Well a little picture update of Ethan. So after cleaning out some of the food in our pantry I had to learn that anything such as chocolates... need to be place in the BOTTOM of the trash so that Ethan cant find it. But as you can see he found it. and he enjoyed the last 5 that were in the box.

The next night he found the sweet and sour sauce from McDonalds... and decided to body paint with it, along with using it as a skin cream. I swear this boy needs the warm wheather back so we can go outside.

Mess after Mess I decided I needed an out... with him of course but I finally went and got me a birthday gift... THANKS VALERIE! It looks great in my apartment... starting to get little things here and there to make it feel a little more homie.

The Red picture frame was from my mom and I finally painted and put the ribbon in it. The picture isnt that great but it gives you an idea. So now Im looking for something to cover up my windows.

*.* Already? *.*

Well nothing much is going on. I just am getting overly bored so I am deep cleaning everything. Tonight I moved everything around in my living room hoping to feel accomplished and something new and fresh... well it worked, but now I'm waiting for Layne to help me move my Dressers... I guess I could do it myself, but then I would dear him get all" YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE MOVING THAT!!"... well then help me right now... ha ha ha.
Anyway, I looked at the Calendar and realized that today was the 8th of January! 1 month Until my little boy is TWO!! I can't believe how fast time has gone, I sit and look at him and wonder where the time went. The only answer... It went by. So I just wanted to share my thought on the idea that Ethan will be turning 2 On Feb 8th. I just wish I could slow time down and have him a little longer. He is such a joy in our lives, one of the biggest blessing Our Savior has given to us. Even after all this time I still cant believe I have a little boy, a wonderful, Fun, spunky, loving, kind, sweet, little boy... Forever.
I'm truly grateful for him.

*.* Free Zoo Day *.*

Eating Lunch

On the 1st of January the Houston ZOO opens for FREE. So you can imagine how many ppl go. There were only a few things that were terrible. Parking, but Layne is smooth so we got one only 3 rows from the front, so we lucked out. Besides that there were just a few times when I was thinking What were WE thinking, but Ethan LOVED the animals, last time we went he didnt care so much but he kept saying Goodbye to all the animals by Name. He is getting so smart. we took him to the playground which he loved and while there with so many other kids he of course accidently bumped into another little girl but was a gentleman and tried to pat her and say Sorry. :) The mom told me that he was so adorable and Polite... I do have to say he is very sweet myself, after playing we went to the petting zoo... that was kinda nasty but he loved it and we SCRUBED our hands after we walked out cause he took a dive in the dirt... and we all know what goes down there besides our feet. After a while we had enough and came home. It was a great day and was thankful we could do something that didnt cost us anything and it was such a great time.

Well we had a good end of 2009 we just hung out and enjoyed being lazy with some good friends and went to bed WAY to late...

MUDDY BUDDIES... I had a craving.

*.* Nothing MuCh*.*

Well I guess you can say we have be kinda busy. But we still try to have a good time. I got most of my christmas shopping done and in the outting of that I found this cute little outfit for Ethan... He needed some church clothes something terrible, and he looked so handsome in it. Layne loved it too of couse, and he was ready and out the door when it was time for Church...

In the last month on the 29th of November i had my 22nd Birthday... man.. i feel like time is flyin! had a great day with my family and best friend Aimee. just relaxed and enjoyed the day cause I wasnt up for much feeling sick.

Other then that... thats about all that is goin on here and of course waiting till the New arrival gets here, but we still have a while for that new adventure... They said July 4th!! But Im hoping i go at least 2 weeks early... cause I hate how humid it is during the summer time here in Houston... let alone doing it while being pregnant... not my moments im looking forward for. But to say the least we are all doing well!! Just getting ready for Chirstmas.

*.*TREE DECORATING/ SNOW FALL*.*

This year Ethan was old enough to kinda help with the tree... He was more interested in all the awesome "balls" to throw around. But he did help get a few of the bulbs on the tree... He was so excited when we finally plugged it in andit was all lit up.

After about a week... Houston is getting a little snow. I am actually really excited, i just wished that it would stick long enough to enjoy, but ppl here in Houston were freaking about because of the snow... they acted like their worlds were turining upside down... and of course I had to laugh when I went to school today and they let us out early because of the "Driving Conditions." But all in all it was nice to have a little snow this time of year.

.*.A few new things.*.

Here sits our little boy at 21months going potty. I just got him a little seat so that he wouldnt fall into the toilet. :) I havent been able to keep his diaper on him, he seems to strip at any chance he gets or will hide in the closet come out and he is running like a wild man. So, it left me no choice but to try and get him potty trained. I dont think he he totally ready, but Im trying to get the idea of using the potty for him, but I honestly think he will get it really fast. I just cant believe he will be 2 already in Feb!

Ethan and I went to the Dr. to get his shots and the flu shot. Poor little guy never leaves there with out sore legs, but Im sure 5 shots will do that to you! He was a little sore but is doing great now. He enjoyed having mom im sure get him treats while he relaxed and watched T.V... but that only lasted about oh... a few minutes...

and then he was out.

Ethan has such a great smile, and i love taking pictures with him, he is too cute.

The minute he sees the camera he pulls this face, he is just such a happy boy all the time.
Layne every once in a while will get the xbox out and let Ethan play so they have some bonding time... Ethan thinks its such a great time... because he gets his OWN remote.

And then again, another of his favorite times with dad...

Sharing the music talent. Ethan just loves watching and listening to Layne play his guitar and sing to him, he gets so excited and of course wants to be just like his daddy.



Well these are just a few things that have been going on with us. We are all well and enjoying life here in the warm sun in Houston.

So this is what my little monster is doing... I swear he is the poop monster. And its just not the season.

Ethan has been taking off his diaper while he is suppose to be taking a nap, chucks it on the floor and then seems to go to sleep... Which is what the top pictures are of... the lovely bottom one is of what he does when I AM THE ONE that is home with him... Joy!

Layne sent me these pictures while I was at school.. and believe it or not, there was not mess for him to clean up... but he sure did leave the house one. :)

But when I AM HOME, he poops in his bed piddles on the floor and smiles while I am cleaning it up saying "EWWW mommy!"... No kiddin'

So now I am trying to figure out ways to keep his little bottom covered up... I dont think he is ready for his big boy potty but I dont know!? All I do know is i am sick of cleaning up his little monsters!

Its been a long time since I have posted anything, but most of everyone has joined the world of Facebook so I forget. From the last post of September 2nd we have done a few things. Ethan has been a great joy like always talking more then ever... copy cat I can say. Layne and I passed our 3 Year mark the 22nd of September. We have been so busy with life that we got to stay home and enjoy a movie, popcorn... and honestly, just relaxed. i didnt even take any pictures... but that's okay, we remember them... for now. Layne has been recording more music on his new machine trying to get a Church CD and the music he has written finished. That's always fun to see what he comes out with.

I just finished my last day of class today! Im a little scared to get out into a doctors office because competition for jobs makes ppl not as friendly. So I pray that the place i start my ex tern is full of nice ppl. Its a little ways away but thats okay it wont be forever... Sadly with this going on, Layne and I have to leave Ethan for a few hours Monday through Friday. Lucky us they are both great ladies in our ward and are an answer to our prayers. So Layne will stay home with him like he is now in the mornings till about 130 and then he will take him to the babysitters for just a few hours at the most... so that wont be to terrible. Plus its during his nap time... what a hard babysitting job! AND I refuse to put him in day care... Layne and I dont feel comfortable with that plus its too spendy here! $600.00a month is OUTTA OUR PRICE RANGE. On the lighter note once i get finished hopefully things will be a little more settled and there will be some time for Layne and I to see each other, at least we have our time with Ethan.

I have some videos i wanted to post but I have to get them off Layne's phone so once I get him home long enough to do it Ill get those up, they are super funny of Ethan being silly. Hope all is well with every one!
