The following pictures were taken on August 14 by his nurse Carolyn. Nathan was 23 weeks at this time. Nathan is still on the oscillator. Maybe tomorrow or the next day he willcome off--hopefully. We will see how tonight goes. With them getting more fluid in him his blood pressure has been better, kidneys are better--he is peeing!! and his heart is bigger-which is good. He hada good night last night so hopefully tonight is good. His day has been good, too. He just does not like to be bothered. That upsets him. Tonight when I called his nurse Wendy said he was doing ok and that he was mad at her since she had to reposition him and change his diaper. So she will leave him a lone for a while then around midnight put another line in to give him some medicine. His antifungal med isnot compatible with stuff they are giving through the pic. The other line he had quit working. So when it is time for that she'll give him some stuff for pain. So that will be good. Tonight he has his eyes open and moving around. He is a bit uncomfortable with the tube down him so they gave him stuff to help him relax. When on the oscillater the less he moves the better. Well, we hope you enjoy thepictures and the update. These pics are amazing! Oh he is so tiny! I do like seeing how he is doing and growing. That would be a hard thing! My hat is off to your sister!
