Together

These two I wonder how they are going to make it when they get older but its moments like this that I know just how they will. It amazes me how much they love each other considering how much they fight at times. BUT its special to see them this way once in a while. ;)

1st Bike Mishap

Ethan was riding his bike in our kitchen and somehow fell off and messed up his mouth... it was bleeding A LOT . His canine tooth actually went all the way through his mouth. :( Glad that the mouth heals so fast! But he was right back on his bike.

Sea World for Ethans birthday

We went down to San Antonio the weekend after Ethan's birthday for his birthday. Are awesome good friends came with us and we had a blast. Believe it or not when we got there we were wondering if it was going to be too cold ... but it was okay and everyone had a great time! This silly girl is one of my best friends.. Laura Toro.

This was one of the Slowest most retarted rides I am sure I will ever ride... Even Riley was getting ticked off cause it was so slow.

This Roller coaster almost made me pee myself a little... I was so scared I almost didn't go on but I knew I would regret not going...plus Layne and Roberto wouldn't have allowed me to leave. It was awesome and I'm sure the next time I go... well it might be a little harder to get in line. I just don't do scary very well anymore.

We had a wonderful time with our handsome little boys and our great  friends and cant wait to do more family friend trips with them! We are really blessed to have a family away from family.
I have some good pictures and videos of the shows but my phone died and they are on Layne's phone.

Kisses and blood draws (Feb 9th)

Mason had to have his 9 month check up and they drew his blood. :( He was a trooper and didnt even cry. The upside to this day was he was really cuddly, which really I guess he is all the time, PLUS he gives the best kisses. He is so sweet and cant believe how big he was even then...

Say Cheese! (Feb 9th)

Mr Riley.. well I dont even know how to start about him. He is one tough cookie, and has the attitude of his mother. ;) But is a sweet sweet boy who can melt your heart the second you try to scold him. :)

Ethan's 4th Birthday (Feb 8th)

Its been a long while due to the lack a computer... mine kicked the bucket and Layne normally doesn't bring his home. So while he has it home before he leaves town tomorrow Ill try and make up for lost time.

Ethan's 4th Birthday!

 This is Ethan's Birthday cake that I proudly made. :) It was a lot of work and Layne helped make sure that it looked great. :) Ethan was so excited when he saw it he could hardly keep his hands away from it.

Well this is the little party that we threw for him. I hope he enjoyed it and knows that we sure love him. Its been a fun 4 years with this little man I am excited to keep having more birthdays with him..

Christmas 2011

Christmas

It was awesome, the kids had a wonderful time but I have to say that I think Layne and I enjoyed it more then they did! We LOVED watching the kids open their Christmas gifts and spending the day as a family.

We waited until 830am, and finally the kids were awake... I feel bad because I didn't get the look on Ethan's face on video when he came down the stairs and saw all the gifts... I was a space case and totally missed it... but Layne got to see it so at least he will always remember the wide eyes of pure excitement. I was also so excited that my parents were able to share Christmas morning with us on Skype! What a blessing, I hope they enjoyed it as much as we did... i hope it helped them to feel like they were not alone on Christmas morning. :) 

I am so thankful that I have a husband that can help bring the spirit into our home and show the children how  to love and be loved. I am thankful for the home that we had to spend our warm Christmas in. To have the means to put food on our table, and to sit together as a family to enjoy each others craziness while our bellies get full.

Smiles, laughter, love, hugs, kisses, cuddling, joy, and happiness.

I am thankful to our Lord and Savior for these blessing, for the glorious day he was born on this earth to one day make the ultimate sacrifice for his brothers and sisters. Giving your life for those you love and want to be with for eternity is more then I could ever ask for...more then I would have ever asked for. I hope that we all remember each day and not just at certain times of the year how blessed we all are. Through the struggles of life, we are blessed... (there is always a calm at the end of the storm.) Hold firm to the iron rod and remember the end reward is more then we will ever be able to comprehend.

Along the way we have learned...

I have so much to say... so many pictures to share... but not enough time.We have moved, traveled, seen my brother get married, and have met many  new wonderful people in the last few months. Along the way we have learned many things and have grown and now its time for the holidays already. Life is beautifully hard.. quick story: These two kiddos love to play together... they had their moments like any kids but they had a good time... well they were out side with their treats and the next thing I know I hear Reagan crying... well Ethan threw a rock at her poor face, I asked him what in the world was he thinking and he looks at me with a mortified face saying "Mom, I told her to catch it!" UGH I can't believe he did that. He was so worried and I'm thankful that my sister is so awesome because I couldn't handle one more word said to Ethan about the situation... In this situation I learned to listen to the Spirit... I felt a calmness come over me when I stood up from checking out Reagan's eye... I almost beat him and I knew that the Lord was on Ethan's side that day. :)

 Quick story: This fish tank finally came out of our storage and we decided to get some fish for it. We went to Walmart and let Ethan pick out some fish for the tank... he picked out 5 orange tetras. We brought them home and I did the fish thing... well with int 10 minutes of me putting them in the water they were all DEAD! BELLY UP!... I told Layne and after I thought about it for a while I forgot about the dechlorinater... yea duh... I told even asked Layne if we should go back and get some more before he woke up the next morning and he told me Naw its okay... Well the next morning sure enough Ethan asked me where his fish were, I told him they went to Heaven and he said WHAT? I said they died Ethan not really thinking cause he  woke me up that morning... and the minute I said it I knew I had caused heartache to that poor 3 year old :( He had the most horrified look on his face and ran to his room crying "MY FISH!!! MY POOR FISH!!!" yea I felt horrible so after the party we went to Petsmart and got Blue our beta... Everyday/morning or when we come home from somewhere he runs to the tank and shouts "MOM BLUE IS STILL ALIVE!!!"

I learned that I can never say IT DIED! to a 3 year old in the way I said it... I have to be more thoughtful.

 Ethan dumped all these magnetic letter is the pan and said he was going to make alphabet soup...

 Matthew's birthday Party!!

 Thanks to my sister Kimmi she made the squares. Its looks perfect on my kitchen table with my little glass pumpkin I got from BUNCO. The spider... well that was given to layne with out notice from some of the guys he works with ha ha.

I sure love my boys. They are so much fun and I couldn't imagine life with out them. I am so thankful for my family and my friends Thank you all for everything you guys do! We miss everyone and are looking forward to everyone's Christmas cards!!!
