*.*update of our Idaho visit*.*

C ooper is a feisty little guy but so sweet after he gets to know you and Lilly is one of the sweetest dogs.

Ethan had a nice goose egg right in between his eyes ha ha he went for a ride with Uncle Ryan and Grandpa Beddes and found the dry farms to be very bouncy and the dash board doesn't leave nice marks.

Our sisters day out. :) we had been shopping all day long and our last stop was TOYrUS and the back of Val's car was full and out come Mel with the biggest box she could have gotten ha ha it was so funny had to take a picture of the moment. It was for Nathans 2nd birthday!

*.Our New Place.*

We finally got moved into our new place! So far so good Here are a few pictures of our apartment. I havent been able to finish up on some of the decorating so it looks a little bare but hopefully Ill be able to make it look a little more homier.

The look of wonder, Ethan didnt know what to think at first but after a second he was okay with it.

Right after Riley was born, I feel bad that we didnt get a family picture with Ethan but he didnt get to come in to see Riley till the next morning cause they Took Riley for all this checks and things and by the time the brought him back in Layne had gone to get Ethan and put him to bed. But we well get some family pictures here soon. :)

He was born at 6:47pm on June 26th 2010.

Weight was 7 lbs 10 oz and 19.5 inches long.

He came out with the blondest of hair and looked totally bald, but there is a little hair there. :)

Labor went well no complications with the babe or with me, other then I was an idiot and forgot to preregister at the hospital and on top of that Saturday I wasnt planning on having a baby! I was going to take Ethan to the pool and then my friend calls to see if you can take Ethan to play at the park with her kids! So I totally was fine with that, so she came and got him I got some things done and then went to relax down at the pool! Well thats when they started... After a while I got a call from Layne and he was so sick he couldnt even drive... He said that he was dizzy and couldnt see.. So i had to go find him to bring him home while having contractions, I thought great we are both going to be in the hospital!! Well we got home and my friend said she would keep Ethan and we came home I got showered did my hair, put my make up on... Just to make sure it was REAL labor! Well of course when I get there Im about ready to get Hostile on people (Layne), and because i didnt get registered they were not able to give me ANYTHING for the pain... all I could think was man those tough pioneer women...

Well when the Nurse checked me she said that I was a 6 and that I should have been in there an hour ago... So of course I go, well your not sending me home right!? She laughed and said "OH Heavens NO, Doll your having a baby today!"
So I had to sit and wait for an hour and a half before they could give me anything for the pain.

After they did I got my heaven on earth and things went quickly after that, I only had to push 3 times and he was here!! healthy and strong!

So now we are living a life with 2 kids in Houston and we are enjoying the addition. Im so thankful he is such a good eater and sleeper!

I cant wait to come home at the end of July to see everyone and to show off my cute little boys! :) Thanks to everyone for your help and your well wishes! we love and are so blessed to have you in our lives!

*.* Change of Plans*.*

As we all know the Lord answers our prayers in ways we may not expect. Which is why our family is going to be staying here in Houston for at LEAST another year. Layne was given a great opportunity to advance in APX which will in the next year give us a chance to move to Utah, which is where we ultimately want to end up. When we prayed about it we knew what we needed to do... even though it was hard for us to give up what we were so excited about... (Being closer to our families.) At the same time it was a calmness I believe that we both needed, mostly with the new arrival coming so soon. We still will be coming to Idaho to see family and to attend Kevin's wedding which we are super excited about. I can't wait to spend time with everyone and just have a chance to relax and not worry about so much at one time. I also wanted to thank everyone for their support and understanding. We love you all so much!

Well On July 25th we are heading out west! We have been waiting for something to open up closer to family and this is our chance. :) Even though we will be having a BIG culture change we are excited to get back in to the small town life. Layne and I will be driving with the baby and his dad will drive our Uhaul... Don't worry we are not leaving Ethan here! Shari is kindly taking some of her time to come down to Houston to help me out for a few days and then ride home with Ethan on the airplane so he wont be stuck in the car for 3 days! So we will be with out our little sweetie for 7 WHOLE days... I almost cried when we got his ticket.

But Elko Nevada will be our home. So a lot will be going on from this time until the end of August.

I do have to say I am very sad to leave Houston. It grew on me and it home but we will adjust, we always do. No more palm trees and ocean visits at our convenience. But we will get to enjoy the mountains and a lot of the things we have missed!

I cant thank our friends and ward members here enough for their love and support. They have been AWESOME and we will miss them all so much. I wish I could pack them up with us. But life changes... and so do you.

So As soon as this little rugrat gets here Ill be ready to go, as if you wouldnt be able to tell if you came into our apartment, I have already started packing our things!

Well Here we go again!! Something(S) new!!

*.* from the nasty to the adorable*.*

So here in Texas we get the nasty cockroaches... well we have lived here over a year and a half and last weekend I went into Ethan's bathroom and about had a heart attack! This NASTY little critter was hiding in Ethan's hat on the floor! So when I picked it up we all can just imagine what happened... If you cant well... try. This is the FIRST one we have ever had in this apartment so I'm hoping no more decided to come visit because they will end up leaving as this one did... Attacked several times with my broom and then quickly flushed. Agh!

So We went down to our friends in Tyler TX so Layne could help them with some wiring in their home they just bought! It was a good time to get away for the weekend and while the sun was out and blazing hot the kids found the sprinkler. At first I didn't know they were out there so Ethan got soaked... but then we found some little white underwear that make Ethan look so adorable...

I was trying to take pictures of our dinner table because I was going to put it on craigslist... and He just had to have his picture taken. He kept running in front of the chair saying CHEESE MOMMA CHEESE! :)

Adding to the note, I have decided to keep my table. :)
