Today was a great Saturday with my family! We just were laid back and enjoyed each other! The day was perfect.. it was sunny and even though a little chilly for here it was still perfect. We went and roamed the town today so we could just not sit here and watch poor Ethan bang his head on the door wishing to get out of our apartment. It was a lot of fun. As you can see in the pictures he sure is a spot light taker! So adorable and fun. I don't think that we have not come home with a load of compliments on how great Ethan is.. what as SWEET THING he is... and Yes I am going to brag, we have a dang cute little boy. :) He is so much fun to play with, as you can see in the video of him on the floor i was just smelling his feet and he sure did get a kick out of it... and so did we.

*.*SaY ChEeSe*.*

Everytime I get the camera out Ethan runs up in front of me and says ChEESE with a big smile on his face... Which I am sure that every Kid does at one age or another... (and then when we get old we find that we have to start taking pictures of ourselves)... :) Anyway I was able to catch him saying cheese!! So enjoy Its so fun to listen to him copy what we say!.. at least so far. :)

So if your wondering what that is there on my carpet... its poop. Ethan stood next to me while he was getting into my purse and was messing his pants... after he did his DOoDie He sat down with a hard thump and out came some poopie.... It went all over his leg up his back and believe it or not All over me after I picked him up, I have NO idea how in the world he got it in some of the places it was at but I was not going to lay him down and wipe him off... So I stood him up in the Tub and removed his diaper and just washed him off... I swear this kid gives me more crap to deal with then I can stand sometimes. but hey after he is all clean and smiling, its totally something I can laugh about... and for some reason, Layne is never here when these things happen... but I am thankful that he hasnt because I could only imagine the mess I would come home to if he was here with Ethan and something like that happened.... ha ha i cant help but laugh because I could hear layne calling me and say I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT!

*.*SwEeT DrEaMs*.*

As you can see my little man didn't make it through his lunch before he sacked out in his chair. He was talking and just laughing at Layne and I cause we were laughing at a movie... well he is our little mimicker and so he laughs whenever we laugh... about 30 seconds later I turn around because he was really quiet... and this is why... he was gone. So i got him out of his chair and laid him in his crib with chicken sandwich and all.

The other day after I had gotten Ethan out of bed, I was getting our breakfast going and I heard him just talking and laughing, so I walked around the Island and saw the little stinker eating Layne's popcorn from the night before... Him and Theo were enjoying there little snack before Breakfast! I asked Ethan to smile for me and of course he gives me a big old smile while he shoves more popcorn into his mouth. :)

On our little outing we had to stop and get a few Groceries and of course Ethan was starting to have enough of riding around in the cart... So we let him out to walk around.... I think that he found something that he was wondering about because he seems to be trying to figure out what it says.... :) thought it was cute to see him wondering up and down trying to take the food off the shelves and put it in the cart.

Ethan and I went out for a walk because we needed some fresh air. He was just enjoying the grass and the rocks which he loved to stick in his mouth and of course the Dirt! He was busy playing in the rocks when I turned around and saw Layne walking towards us, and I told Ethan to look up because Daddy was home! Ethan LOOKED Up and TOoK OFF towards Layne, It was so cute! Then after Our little venture around the grass and the pool we headed back inside. Its so dang nice outside I didnt want to come back in but I of course needed to find something for dinner.

*.* EaR InFeCtIOns & Sinus InFecTiOn*.*

I don't know about all you guys but when I travel I ALWAY come back Sick... never fails! But before we headed back here to the Lone Star State, Ethan had been really sick, High Fevers .. Runny nose, cough, and a little bit of some vomiting... After a week I had had ENOUGH! I Decided that he just was not teething so I took him to the Doctor to Find out that he had 2 ear infections... and he was teething. So we got him on some Medicine and he is now happy as a lark! Me on the other hand have a sinus infection now... The Doctor was alarmed when he saw how bad it was... I have had a hard time doing a lot of things because I feel like my face is going to beat right off my face! imagine that one! so now I am on some amoxicillin and hoping that it starts taking that pulse out of my face, so I can finally lay down and get some rest!! Wish Me Luck!!

So Last night I was getting Ethan ready for bed and I had to change his diaper.. well I got his diaper on good and then I pulled up his pants to realize that I had to still button up his onesi.. so i was tiered and didn't care so I just said what the heck and pulled his onesi together and buttoned them ...Well as I am doing this Layne is telling me not to and to just fix it because it couldn't be comfortable... and when i stood him up Layne and I couldn't help but just laugh at him because as Layne put it, " He looks like he was in a 80's work out video gone bad!"... I laughed and put little Ethan to bed after he played for a few more minutes...
So looking at these pictures just makes me smile cause no matter what he is in he will look adorable... goofy... but adorable!

*.*Day OuT WiTh DaD*.*

LaYne had the day off today and so we wanted to go out and do a few things. I was sad when I woke up this morning because it was soooo FoGGY, but it cleared up and turned out to be beautiful outside!!! We went out and did just a few things and then went for a small walk, it was great to just hang out and be lazy, in 80* weather!! This is our new apartment ill get more pictures up when I get my apartment put together a little more. :) and that is the view we have on our way to the pool, we dont have a pool view but we can walk out our front door and there it is! SO COME OUT HERE TO HOUSTON AND WE WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME!

Here is some time spent with the Grandparents and Great Grandparents on the Bowen side! We sure did love spending time with them before we left back to Houston! I love these pictures of Ethan with Great grandma and grandpa Bowen, they are so special.

Layne came and got us from the airport and now we are finally home. The weather is so amazing, it beats the snow in Idaho... I sure do miss the family but I have mine back together and its great!

When I walked into our new apartment Layne had these flowers sitting there waiting for me. It makes me sad that they just die!! Anyway, Ill enjoy them While I can, they are so beautiful! Thanks baby!
